A professional resume has three elements: Focus, visual impact and verbal appeal.
Remember: first impressions are lasting, and the resume is the “first impression” that an employer gets of a prospective employee. Guidance is provided to our clients in preparing resumes that are market-focused, and in formats preferred by most hiring officials. We work with individuals on the basics of putting a resume together, whether for the first time or for the fortieth time. Samples of resumes are offered to demonstrate what works and what doesn’t.
Career Directions provides clients with several resume packages. Fees vary depending on your field, level of experience and complexity of the project. After the scope of your project is determined, you will be given a formal price. Many clients prefer a resume consultation that provides all information necessary to create an outstanding product. Clients then proceed and return or e-mail their draft for critique and further suggestions are forwarded. Some individuals need only a brief critique of their work that can be done in as little as 15 minutes.
